A national civic organization, the Friends of Tinubu Reforms (FTR), has announced plans to hold its World Maiden Unveiling and National Inauguration in the Federal Capital Territory.
The event, scheduled for Friday, 28th August 2026, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja, will gather grassroots leaders, policy analysts, community organizers, and regional delegates from across the 36 states and the FCT.
Organizers state that the gathering aims to establish a structured public platform focused on civic education, policy advocacy, and monitoring the grassroots impact of ongoing national economic and structural reforms.
Speaking on the upcoming convergence, FTR Director-General Comrade Hon. Agbor Ebipade emphasized that the assembly represents a self-funded, independent gathering of citizens and community representatives seeking to engage directly with current governance policies.
“This inauguration brings together representatives from across all geopolitical zones who have observed the practical outcomes of key policy adjustments—ranging from subnational financial autonomy to educational funding models and fiscal realignments,” Ebipade stated. “Our objective is to institutionalize a grassroots network that advocates for policy stability, civic awareness, and long-term economic development.”
