The Alaafin of Oyo, Akeem Owoade I, has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a remarkable leader and living legend whose vision continues to shape Nigeria’s future.
In a congratulatory message issued by the Alaafin’s Media and Publicity Director, Bode Durojaiye, to mark Obasanjo’s 89th birthday, the monarch said the former Nigerian president remains a titan of his time whose integrity, courage, and dedication to national service have left an enduring legacy.

The monarch noted that Obasanjo’s leadership has helped bridge divides and foster progress, thereby shaping a better future for generations of Nigerians.
