The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Ondo State have thrown their weight behind the economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu, stating that the administration’s policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda are already yielding visible results.
The State Coordinator of the group, Rt. Honourable Victor Olabimtan, said the Tinubu administration met a struggling economy burdened by deficits and fiscal challenges, but has since taken deliberate steps to stabilise the system and reposition it for growth.
According to him, the government’s proactive and long-term policy approach marks a clear departure from what he described as the reactionary style of previous administrations, noting that such strategic planning is beginning to address complex economic realities.
Olabimtan acknowledged that the early phase of the reforms came with difficulties for Nigerians but insisted that the situation is improving steadily.
He emphasised that meaningful reforms often require sacrifice, urging Nigerians to remain patient and supportive as the government continues to implement its policies.
While noting that the country may not yet be where it ought to be, he maintained that there has been noticeable progress compared to the past, expressing optimism that conditions will continue to improve.
“The takeoff was tough, but things are gradually getting better. It is time to begin to focus on the gains and build on them,” he said
He described the RHA as a key mobilisation platform aimed at strengthening grassroots support for the administration, adding that ongoing developments have made its engagement efforts easier and more impactful
Olabimtan said the group has unveiled a strategic plan in Ondo State to engage communities, boost grassroots support, and reinforce public confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He said the political objective of the RHA includes mobilising support for government policies, strengthening party unity, and building a reliable feedback system between the people and the federal government.
