The Director-General of BTO for PBAT 2027, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, has reaffirmed the group’s commitment to an aggressive grassroots mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 general elections, declaring that the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains its primary objective.
Adojutelegan stated this during a strategic meeting with key stakeholders held in Abuja, where he outlined the group’s policy direction and operational focus as preparations for the polls gradually intensify.
According to him, grassroots engagement will form the backbone of the organisation’s campaign strategy, stressing that sustained interaction at the community level is critical to achieving electoral success.
He noted that BTO for PBAT 2027 would prioritise structured mobilisation across polling units, wards, and local government areas, ensuring that its message resonates directly with the electorate.
He said that any successful political movement must maintain direct contact with the people at the community level, adding that “effective grassroots mobilisation remains the most reliable strategy for sustaining political momentum and achieving electoral success.”
The Director-General emphasised that effective political movements must maintain close contact with the people and build support from the ground up.
Adojutelegan further disclosed that the group is strengthening its outreach programmes and expanding its volunteer base as part of efforts to consolidate nationwide support.
According to him, the organisation is determined to reach every part of the country through coordinated mobilisation initiatives aimed at strengthening support across wards and local government areas.
He disclosed that plans were underway to expand outreach programmes, grow volunteer networks, and build a solid grassroots framework capable of galvanising widespread support at the polls.
He assured stakeholders that the mobilisation efforts would be conducted through lawful and democratic means, adding that the group remains focused on its mandate to galvanise widespread backing for President Tinubu in 2027.
The meeting brought together coordinators and strategic partners, who pledged their commitment to the goals of BTO for PBAT 2027 and resolved to intensify mobilisation efforts as preparations for the elections gathered momentum.
Participants also acknowledged the support of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in advancing the group’s mission.
